This is kind of a weird interaction I just saw on Twitter dot com. Golden State Warriors big man Andrew Bogut is hoping vegan protesters spend five (5) years in jail because they blocked an intersection in protest. I’m no vegan, but I do believe we as humans should have probably evolved from torturing and slaughtering animals solely for consumption when there’s literally a million other ways we can feed ourselves.
I also happen to think putting people in jail for five (5) years for protesting is a tad excessive and probably a waste of taxpayer money while also feeding into prison industrial complex. Not to mention harshly punishing protesters is kind of a totalitarian way of going about things, which I find to be not the best government practice.
Idk. Just some thoughts on the matter.
