K.R.I.T. got bars. Everyone knows that. He’s currently promoting his new album K.R.I.T. IZ HERE to make sure people know that. Most rappers are afraid of freestyling on their media tours, but not K.R.I.T. No sir, not Mr. Multi. K.R.I.T. flew through three freestyles in the past couple weeks like he was driving an S-Class on the Autobahn. Smooth sailing at high speeds.
In fact, K.R.I.T. has said his entire album is about how he’s one of the greatest rappers of all time and should be respected as such, and I agree. I personally don’t like him as much as I like Kendrick or Cole, but as far as lyricists go, I can’t name anyone else in the same generation as them who can bar down on the spot like those three can. So, in that respect, I think K.R.I.T. should be involved in the Kendrick/Cole conversations. From now on, it’s a Kendrick/Cole/K.R.I.T. conversation.
