I like it when movies have soundtracks that can stand alone as it’s own album. It tells me they put a lot of effort into the soundtrack and it also gives me more of a reason to see the movie. If the production for the soundtrack is good, then the production of the movie should also be good. Simple math.
The soundtrack features Post Malone, Swae Lee, Juice WRLD, Nicki Manaj, Jaden Smith, Ski Mask the Slump God, Lil’ Wayne, XXXTENTACION, Denzel Curry, YBN Cordae, Vince Staples, and many more.
I also like how movies are starting to include rappers that aren’t mega-celebrities yet like Juice WRLD, Cordae, and Vince Staples. Good on them.
The movie itself is an animated movie but looks good nonetheless. It’s in theaters now. Check out the trailer below.
