What To Listen To 6.1.19

They say we’re in the golden age of music and I also like to think that’s true. I also think the present will always be the golden age of music as long as we don’t fuck it up too bad. Well on this present day, there are ton of new albums that deserve your ears’ attention.

Lucky Daye dropped his debut album Painted last week and the whole album is a “vibe,” as the kids say.

Speaking of vibes, Kota the Friend is an entire vibe in and of himself. That probably doesn’t really make much sense but listen to his new album FOTO and it might make a little more sense. Poking some smot might also help.

If you haven’t heard of Beast Coast, then first of all, fuck you. Secondly, listen to the group’s debut album Escape From New York featuring Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, and The Underachievers.

Joey Fatts has been praising Chipper Jones for a full four volumes so far. I’m not really sure why but maybe Joey is a Braves fan? After all, he did grow up when Chipper was one of the best, and most clutch, players in the MLB. Whatever the reason, Chipper Jones Vol. 4 slaps. It also features Dave East, Vince Staples, and JMSN if that piques your interest.

Skepta may or may not be the most famous British rapper of all time, barring Stormzy, and most people in the States still don’t really know who he is. Well fellas,,,, get to know the man with his new album Ignorance is Bliss.
