This album actually came out last week but I had to include it because I didn’t get around to posting one of this past week, or for the past couple of months for that matter. If you liked Baby’s other albums, you’ll like this one too. Features include Quavo, Future, Roddy Ricch, Youngboy NBA, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Ashanti, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Westside Gunn – Pray for Paris
This album also came out last week. Sue me. If you’re wondering what was the piece of art that sold for $400 million in the intro song to the album, it was Lionardo Davinci’s “Salvator Mundi” painting. Album features include Conway and Benny the Butcher (obviously), Joey Bada$$, Tyler, the Creator, Billie Essco, Wale, Joyce Wrice, Freddie Gibbs, Roc Marciano, Boldy James, Keisha Plum, and Cartier William. BOOM BUH-B-B-B-B-BUH BOOOM.
Guapdad 4000 – Platinum Falcon Tape, Vol. 1
White people love him like avocado toast. It’s true. The sole feature on the EP is Jigga Juice.
Youngboy Never Broke Again – 38 Baby 2
Youngboy dropping albums/mixtapes with 100 songs on them like you read about. It’s like all he does is make rap songs and then put every single one of them out. However, Youngboy’s been going through some drama lately with his girlfriend allegedly stabbing his baby mama and all, so he says he’s taking a break from music until he gets his life straightened out. Good on you Youngboy. The album is 17 songs long and only features Sherhonda Gaulden and DaBaby.
K Camp – Kiss 5
If you’ve been on TikTok over the past couple of months, you’ve heard K Camp’s “Renegade” song and you’ve probably memorized the dance already (shoutout Jalaiah). This album is more R&Bish than that but it’s still good nonetheless.
Kali Uchis – TO FEEL ALIVE (EP)
Kali Uchis is good at making music. There’s really not much more to say. No features needed.
Trouble – Thug Luv
One of the best still doing it out west. Features include 2 Chainz, Quavo, Boosie, Jacquees, Jeezy, City Girls, and Scalez.
Tom Misch & Yussef Dayes – What Kinda Music
I don’t really know who Yussef Dayes is but I know Tom Misch is dope. More slow jams than anything else. Features include Freddie Gibbs, Rocco Palladino, and Kaidi Akinnibi.
Asher Roth – Flowers on the Weekend
White people rejoice! Our savior has returned! Just as the world is ending too, what timing this guy has. Features include Lil’ Yachty, Buddy, Gaby Duran, CJ Smith, Joyce Wrice, and lojii.
